Land of Hope and the Danish design company Spring Copenhagen continue their successful collaboration with a new small, symbolic wooden figure:

“Peace – The Dove of Hope”

The figure is created with a dual purpose: to combine Nordic design with a powerful story – and at the same time make a tangible contribution to Land of Hope’s work rescuing vulnerable children in Nigeria.

Turning hope into action

“In 2025, we created the figure Hope the Cat, which was very well received by our supporters. With the dove, we continue our ambition to create products that don’t just carry a message, but also make a real difference. I’m very proud of that,” says Anja Ringgren Lovén, founder of Land of Hope.

Throughout history, the dove has been a universal symbol of peace, hope and innocence. With Peace, this symbolism is carried into a modern context, with the aim of turning hope into action.

For Claus Müller-Nielsen, COO and Co-founder of Spring Copenhagen, the collaboration is very much about taking responsibility where it matters most:

“If you want to create lasting change, you have to start where hope is strongest – and for us, that is with the children.”

Every day, Land of Hope works to rescue and protect children who have been abandoned and subjected to violence due to superstition and accusations of witchcraft. For Anja Ringgren Lovén, the figure is therefore more than a design object:

“There are children we have saved. And children we didn’t reach. That obliges us to keep going,” she says, emphasizing that hope is not passive – it requires action.

Even small actions matter

With Peace, Land of Hope and Spring Copenhagen aim to make it easier for individuals to contribute in their own small way. For every figure sold, Spring Copenhagen donates all profits to support Land of Hope’s work.
